A Prayer

This was written by a friend of mine and I thought it was so good that I had it read at my wifes burial. I think you'll agree.

May her steps fall gentle on the new path,

May she walk in the counsel of the Elders,

May the breast of Mother Earth nurture her,

May the strength of Father Sky protect her,

As she sits with her Ancestors

May both table and heart be full.

May the Wise Ones grant her wisdom

And may she always be remembered with honor.
